Clara Smith, President, established Synthesis Technologies, Inc. (STI) in January 2000. Being in the Information Technology (IT) field for over 15 years has earned Ms. Smith an excellent reputation and the trust of her peers. Before founding Synthesis, Ms. Smith was chief operating officer of a computer training facility of which she part-owned in Maryland. She has extensive experience in leading change, directing, managing, achieving results, building coalitions, quality improvements, strategic and tactical planning as well as a demonstrated business savvy. Ms. Smith has mastered the ability to build effective coalitions/communications with industry leaders, community partners, strategic partners, state and local government officials at all levels.
